Twilight Strategy is now available in PDF, epub, and mobi for download! It is a collection of every post made on Twilight Strategy and can make a great gift for someone just learning Twilight Struggle.
The book is, and always will be, free to download. You are welcome to pay if you would like, but you get exactly the same book regardless of whether you pay for it or not.
Very generous and very interesting to read, thanks! Seems the main section of this site has been down for a while but it remains a great resource for those of us who got into Twilight Struggle a little later than others. Thanks for all the good work!
Awesome game 🙂
I think the eBook is missing an entry for the China Card. Will there be an update?
I dont quite understand the wording in 2.1.7. Control of countries
A country is considered Controlled by a player if:
• The player has Influence points in the country greater than or
equal to the country’s Stability Number, and
• The player’s Influence in the country exceeds his/her opponent’s
Influence in that country by at least the country’s
Stability Number.
How is it possible to satisfy the second condition without the first one automatically being satisfied?
You’re right that it’s not — but it helps clarify that you need to check your influence against both your opponent and the stability number.
I wonder if you’re the same theory that does the Innovation column. Great work here anyway (as well as on the other blog).
